Product Description
Pipe made in Black AS1163 C250LO Grade C250 Pipe that has been galvanized. For general mechanical and low pressure reticulation applications, the pipe is manufactured by cold-forming and high frequency Electric Resistance Welding. The cold-forming process enhances the strength, hardness and surface finish of the pipe and produces product to tight dimensional tolerances. Also available with one or both ends swaged in sizes from 25 NB to 50 NB.
Ordinary galvanized steel pipes are seamed steel pipes. Galvanized steel pipes are only available on special request. The way to distinguish between seamed and seamless steel pipes is to measure the outer diameter of the pipe. The manufacturing standards of the two steel pipes are different, and the outer diameters are also different. For example, for a steel pipe with a diameter of 100mm, the outer diameter of the seamed one is 114mm, and that of the seamless one is 108mm.
