Prepainted steel coil ,produced in continuous machine setsusing galvanized steel sheet or aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet as its base metalfirstly goes through surface pre-treatment(degreasing and chemical treatment),then roll coating that is coating a layer or layers of liquid coatings, and at last baking and cooling in which stage the coil can be called prepainted steel coil .A variety of colors can be used as its coatings,so prepainted steel coil can also be called color prepainted steel coil . And hot-dip galvanized steel coil or aluminum zinc silicon steel coil with organic paint coatings can be called hot-dip prepainted galvanized steel coil or prepainted aluminum zinc silicon steel coil.Prepainted steel sheet has a useful-life longer than hot-dip galvanized steel coil, not only because of the protection of zinc,but also the surface organic coating’s isolated protection and rust resistance.
PPGI coated coil is coated with organic layer, which provides higher anti-corrosion property and a longer lifespan than galvanized steel sheets.
The base metal for PPGI consist of cold-rolled steel, Hot dip galvanized steel and hot dip galvalume steel .The coating material is as following: Polyester, Silicon modified polyester, Polyvinylidene fluoride, high-durability polyester ,etc.
Production process : one coating one baking, double coating one baking, double coating double baking, three coating three baking ,etc.
According to surface treatment, PPGI/PPGL contains : Regular, Embossed and Printed.
