Product Description
Galvanized steel strip is produced through processes such as pickling, galvanizing, and packaging of ordinary steel strips. Owing to its excellent corrosion resistance, it is widely utilized in various applications. It is primarily used to manufacture metal products that undergo cold processing without the need for further galvanizing, such as light steel keels, guardrail posts, water tanks, rolling doors, bridges, and other metal structures.
Advantages of Galvanized Steel Strip
Corrosion Resistance:
Galvanized steel strip offers excellent resistance to corrosion, withstanding neutral salt spray tests for up to 240 hours.
Attractive Appearance:
It features a smooth, silver-white surface free from zinc nodules and burrs, ensuring a clean and uniform finish.
Retains Steel Properties:
The galvanizing process causes no hydrogen embrittlement or thermal damage, allowing the material to maintain its original mechanical strength and performance.

Types of Galvanized Steel Strip
Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Strip
A steel sheet is immersed in a bath of molten zinc, allowing a layer of zinc to firmly adhere to its surface, providing excellent corrosion protection.
Alloyed Galvanized Steel Strip
Produced through a hot-dip process, this type is subsequently heated to around 500°C to form a zinc–iron alloy coating. The resulting layer offers strong adhesion and excellent weldability.
Electro-Galvanized Steel Strip
Manufactured by electroplating, this type provides superior formability and surface quality. However, the zinc coating is thinner, resulting in slightly lower corrosion resistance compared to hot-dip galvanized sheets.
Single-Sided and Differential Double-Sided Galvanized Steel Strip
Single-sided galvanized strip is coated with zinc on only one surface, offering greater adaptability in welding, rust prevention, and processing. To address the limitations of single-sided coating, a thin zinc layer can be applied to the reverse side—this is known as a differential double-sided galvanized strip.
Alloy and Composite Galvanized Steel Strip
Formed by combining zinc with other metals such as lead or by applying composite plating, this type provides outstanding corrosion resistance along with excellent coating performance.

Applications of Galvanized Steel Strip
General Civil Use:
Commonly utilized in the manufacturing of household items such as sinks, door panels, and kitchen utensils, where enhanced strength and durability are required.
Construction Industry:
Widely applied in structural and decorative components including light steel keels, roofing, ceilings, wall panels, water barriers, rain gutters, rolling doors, interior and exterior warehouse panels, and insulation pipe casings.
Home Appliances:
Used in the reinforcement and protection of appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, showers, and vacuum cleaners, ensuring extended service life and improved corrosion resistance.
Automotive Industry:
Extensively used in the production of components for vehicles including large cars, trucks, trailers, cargo vans, refrigerated vehicle parts, garage doors, wipers, mudguards, fuel tanks, and water tanks.
Industrial Manufacturing:
Serves as a key base material for stamped components in products such as bicycles, digital devices, and armored cables.
Other Applications:
Also employed in the fabrication of equipment covers, electrical cabinets, instrument panels, and office furniture, providing both functional strength and aesthetic appeal.
