Prepainted steel coil,produced in continuous machine setsusing galvanized steel coil or aluminum zinc silicon steel coil as its base metalfirstly goes through surface pre-treatment(degreasing and chemical treatment),then roll coating that is coating a layer or layers of liquid coatings, and at last baking and cooling in which stage the sheet can be called prepainted steel sheet.A variety of colors can be used as its coatings,so prepainted steel sheet can also be called color prepainted steel sheet. And hot-dip galvanized steel sheet or aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet with organic paint coatings can be called hot-dip prepainted galvanized steel sheet or prepainted aluminum zinc silicon steel sheet.Prepainted steel sheet has a useful-life longer than hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, not only because of the protection of zinc,but also the surface organic coating’s isolated protection and rust resistance.

PPGI Steel Coil Specifications
PPGI is pre-painted galvanized steel, also known as pre-coated steel, color coated steel etc. Using Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil as the substrate, PPGI is made by first going through surface pretreatment, then the coating of one or more layers of liquid coating by roll coating, and finally baking and cooling. The coatings used including polyester, silicon modified polyester, high-durability, corrosion-resistance and formability.
